With the funding of the Green Climate Fund established under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change , in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the UNDP  "Improving the Adaptability and Risk Management of Rural People of Mongolia to Climate Change" (ADAPT) project is in progess.
Within ADAPT project  "Buir Lake" -Consultancy services are being carried out to update/develop and approve the management plan of the Khalkh river Water basin in accordance with climate change, risk and vulnerability.
